The short version: if a page contains a qualifying affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That relationship never determines our editorial conclusions.
How we make money
Investing Paradise may participate in affiliate programs. If a page contains a qualifying affiliate link and you take a qualifying action, we may receive a commission from the company at no additional cost to you. We will identify the relationship on the relevant page.
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), which require us to clearly and conspicuously disclose material connections between ourselves and the companies whose products we mention.
How disclosures appear on this site
We do not rely on this page alone. Wherever affiliate links appear, we disclose it at the point you encounter them:
- A disclosure notice appears at the top of every page that contains affiliate links — above the content, before you can click anything, not buried in a footer or behind a link.
- Affiliate links are marked in the page’s code as sponsored links (
rel="sponsored nofollow"), which is how we signal the relationship to search engines. - A standing disclosure appears in the footer of every page of this site.
- Each page containing a qualifying link will state the relationship near the relevant recommendation.
If you ever find an affiliate link on this site without an accompanying disclosure, that is a mistake on our part — please tell us and we will fix it.
Our editorial independence
- Companies cannot buy favorable coverage. Our reviews, ratings, and comparisons reflect our honest assessment, including drawbacks.
- Commissions do not set our rankings. Whether or how much a company pays us never determines whether — or how favorably — we cover it.
- We cover products with no affiliate program when they genuinely serve readers.
- We do not accept payment for reviews or for inclusion in our resource lists.
Affiliate programs
Before we publish a commercial review, comparison, or affiliate link, we will verify the program’s current terms, eligibility, pricing, and disclosure requirements. We do not represent that we participate in a specific program unless the relevant page says so.
Sponsored and paid content
If we ever publish sponsored content or a paid placement, it will be clearly labeled as such at the top of the content and identified as advertising. We will never present paid content as independent editorial. As of the date above, we publish no sponsored content.
Free products and services
If a company provides us with free access to a paid product for review purposes, we disclose that within the review. Receiving free access never guarantees favorable coverage, and we say so in the review when it happens.
What affiliate links look like
Affiliate links may be direct links to a provider’s site or shortened links that route through our own domain. Clicking them costs you nothing extra, and prices are never higher because you used our link.
